Raw power without method is just chaos.

AI is being deployed without the guardrails, transparency, or user control that every other piece of critical infrastructure eventually had to grow. Most of the people selling it have never run a production system through a bad night. I have, for thirty years, six of them on Wall Street where the question was never "does it work" but "what happens when it doesn't."

So the firm does three things that reinforce each other. It builds software and AI systems for companies, with an optional AI support layer that runs after launch. It trains people to direct AI agents instead of being replaced by them, from a free terminal tutorial to a thirteen-week bootcamp. And it runs Fire, the inference API underneath all of it, sold on the same terms I use it: every call priced, every call logged, no credential ever in an agent's hands.

The governance layer is public: AIGCSEP, submitted to the IETF as draft-howlett-aigcsep-00, defines how autonomous agents are identified, scoped, stopped and audited. FireControl is the running implementation.
