These terms apply to your use of moduspromethean.com and its related pages (the "Site") and to the training sessions, programs and services you buy from Modus Promethean ("we", "us"). By using the Site or buying a service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

1. The Site

You may use the Site for its intended purpose: learning about our work, contacting us, registering for programs, submitting a resume, and using the lessons and tools we make available. You may not misuse the Site, attempt to access accounts or systems that are not yours, scrape it, or use it to send spam or unlawful content. We may suspend access for misuse.

2. Accounts

Some parts of the Site require signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. Give us accurate information and keep it current.

3. Training sessions and programs

Booking. A session or program is booked when we confirm it and payment has cleared. Dates, times and format (in person or online) are as stated at booking or as agreed with you afterwards; we may reschedule with notice if we must.

Attendance. Online sessions require a working computer, camera and connection. We may ask you to keep your camera on. Programs may have attendance and participation requirements; we will tell you what they are.

Payment. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Where a program is paid in instalments, each instalment is due on the date stated.

Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel a booking for a full refund up to 48 hours before it starts. Cancellations inside 48 hours, and missed sessions, are not refunded but we will try to reschedule you once at no charge. Program fees are refundable in full before the first session and are not refundable after it, except where the law requires otherwise or we cancel the program. If we cancel, you receive a full refund of anything not yet delivered.

No guarantee of outcomes. Our programs teach skills. We do not guarantee employment, certification, a particular grade, or any specific result.

4. Resumes and introductions

If you submit a resume, you confirm it is accurate and yours. We may review it, keep it on file, and, with your agreement, share it with employers or partner organisations. We are not an employment agency and do not guarantee an introduction, interview or job.

5. Consulting services

Consulting engagements are governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work. If there is a conflict between that agreement and these terms, the agreement controls.

6. Our content and your content

The Site, lessons, course materials, articles and artwork are owned by Modus Promethean or its licensors. You may use course materials for your own learning; you may not republish, resell or share them. Anything you submit to the Site (messages, resumes, coursework) stays yours, and you give us permission to use it for the purpose you submitted it.

7. Third-party services

The Site links to and relies on third-party services (Google, Stripe, our hosting and email providers, AI model providers). Their terms govern your use of their services. We are not responsible for their content or conduct.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and our materials are provided "as is". We do not promise they will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial or professional advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the Site or a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost income or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be noted on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it. Bookings already made stay on the terms in force when they were made.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before going to court, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter by discussion for 30 days.
