Modus Promethean is a Jersey City company. The Bootcamp runs its in-person days here with Bright Horizon Institute, the one-to-one sessions happen here, and the servers that run Fire and the rest of the stack are managed from here. If you are on the Hudson waterfront or anywhere along the PATH, you are closer to me than anyone in Manhattan is.
The waterfront has become the back office of Wall Street, with the compliance, operations and technology teams of the big banks sitting in Exchange Place and Newport. That is the work I did for six years on the other side of the river, and it is where most of my Jersey City consulting goes: data pipelines, process automation, and AI deployments that satisfy a real security review.
The Bootcamp, in person
Thirteen weeks, taught with Bright Horizon Institute in Jersey City. You bring a cloud instance, a Claude subscription and Fire API access; you leave with a working application you built and the ability to direct AI agents to build the next one. Payment is $4,500 once or three monthly payments, and promotional pricing is available for the current cohort. Start dates are arranged directly with me after your seat is reserved.
Consulting for the waterfront
Exchange Place and Newport teams usually want one of three things: a data problem solved across systems that do not talk to each other, an AI capability added to an internal tool without exposing credentials or customer data to a vendor, or a multi-agent setup installed on their own cloud. The Orchestration Setup offer, from $500, is the third of those productised: Laravel, PostgreSQL and Claude Code on a cloud instance you control, with brokered secrets and a signed emergency stop available as options.
For the rest, a three-hour session at your office is $375 plus the $50 travel fee, and it usually ends with a fixed-price scope for the build.
Journal Square, the Heights and the rest of the city
Away from the waterfront, Jersey City is small businesses and practices, and the work is the same as anywhere: find the process that eats a day a week, automate it, and train whoever runs the office to keep it running. I live here, so a one-hour session on a weekday afternoon is easy to schedule.

Do you charge the travel fee inside Jersey City?
Yes, the same flat $50 as New York and Hoboken, which keeps the pricing simple. Zoom sessions have no fee.
Where do the Bootcamp in-person days happen?
In Jersey City, with Bright Horizon Institute. Remote attendance is possible for the lecture portions; the hands-on days are better in the room.
Can you deploy inside our bank's environment?
That depends on your vendor process, but I design for it: private cloud, your credentials never pass through a model, every inference call logged. I have sat on the review side of that table.
