Modus Promethean ("we", "us") is a software engineering, applied AI, consulting and training business based in Jersey City, New Jersey. This policy explains what information we collect through moduspromethean.com and its related pages (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to jp@modpx.dev.

1. What we collect

Information you give us.

• Contact and enquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number if you include it, and your message.
• Training registration and enrolment: name, email, phone, and the answers you give on registration forms.
• Resume submissions: the resume file you upload or email to us, and the details it contains (name, contact details, work history, skills, education).
• Class attendance and progress: sign-ins, lesson completions, quiz results and achievements for people enrolled in our training programs.
• Payments: when you pay for a session or program, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, the amount paid and a transaction reference.

Information collected automatically.

• Sign-in with Google: if you sign in to our lessons or training portal with Google, Google sends us your name, email address and profile picture. We use these only to create and recognise your account.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting.
• Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a token that protects forms against forgery. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, schedule sessions and run the training programs you enrol in.
• To review resumes for training places and, where you ask us to, to introduce you to employers.
• To take payment, send receipts and keep accounting records.
• To keep the Site secure and working.
• To send you information about our programs if you have asked for it. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing jp@modpx.dev.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Automated processing and AI

We use AI models to help run the Site. In particular, when you submit a resume we use an AI model to extract your name, contact details and skills so a person can review it faster. That processing is done through our own AI gateway, which may send the text of your resume to a third-party model provider (such as OpenAI) under terms that prohibit the provider from using it to train their models. A person makes every decision about training places and employer introductions; no decision about you is made solely by automated means.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run the Site: our hosting provider, Stripe for payments, our email delivery provider, Google for sign-in, and AI model providers as described above. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
• Employers and partner organisations, when you have asked us to introduce you or put you forward for a role. We tell you before we do this.
• Training partners that co-deliver a program you are enrolled in, limited to attendance and progress.
• Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Resumes and training records: for the duration of the program and up to 3 years afterwards, so we can provide references and track outcomes. You can ask us to delete your resume sooner.
• Payment records: 7 years, as required for tax and accounting.
• Server logs: up to 90 days.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email jp@modpx.dev and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights (for example California or the European Economic Area), we will honour them.

7. Security

Data is stored on servers we control, encrypted in transit, with access limited to the people who need it. No method of storage is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

8. Children

The Site and our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Our Google Workspace integration

Modus Promethean also operates a private Google Cloud application ("Personal Automation") that connects to the Google Contacts, Google Calendar and Gmail settings of the business owner's own Google account. That application is used only by the business owner, accesses only that one account, and does not collect, store or process any other person's Google account data. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

10. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you.
